Software Development Engineer

Primary responsibilities include: designing consumer-oriented software applications and writing C/C++ implementations of these designs in a Windows environment; writing statements of design that detail proposed designs; maintaining design documents as the software changes; working with QA engineers and testers to identify software defects; and debugging C/C++ code to analyze and fix software defects. Qualifications include strong development experience in C/C++, Object Oriented design, and cross platform development techniques. Development experience with DirectShow, MPEG1/2/4, and MP3 is a strong plus. Must be creative, have strong problem solving ability, good verbal and written communication skills, and a desire to deliver cutting edge technology in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Technical degree, Math, EE or CS preferred.

Software Development Manager

Primary responsibilities include planning, designing and coordinating development of C++ applications for Windows; working in cooperation with marketing to design and develop software for consumer applications; making decisions on technical architecture and product design; and managing departmental staffing plans, budgeting and negotiation of technology agreements. Requirements include Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in C/S, CE, EE or related field plus 4 years of software development experience designing and shipping retail/commercial applications, using C++ and Internet technologies, and managing a development team. Must be team-oriented, have strong problem solving abilities and a desire to flourish in a dynamic environment.
